At Bush Buddies, we want you to feel confident with every purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help — fairly, clearly, and in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of mind returns

If you change your mind, we’re happy to offer a return or exchange, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in original condition

  • It is returned in its original packaging

  • You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order

🔹 Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
🔹 Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll process your refund or exchange.

Items not eligible for change-of-mind returns

For hygiene and practical reasons, the following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Colouring books that have been used or marked

  • Any item that has been used, damaged, or altered after delivery

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Faulty

  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

We will assess the issue and offer a replacement, repair or refund, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 3–7 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider
